Yolanda E. Brown, LISW-CP

Mrs. Brown has over 22 years of social work experience. She obtained her Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) from the University of South Carolina and Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S) from Benedict College. She has worked at the County government level, State government level, Federal government level, and the private sector as a Social Worker, Program Manager, and Social Work Supervisor.

After earning her License Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP), she started her therapy practice. She has a proven track record for successful mentoring and coaching healthcare professionals to include social workers and nurses in occupational needs but moreover professional development training that has drawn others to seek her for advice, and guidance.

Those mentored by her have seen improvement in their work performance, resolved conflict with co-workers and supervisors, and many have transitioned into new positions and received promotions.

Yolanda prides herself as being transparent and approachable to help create an open, honest relationship with her mentee. Her goal is to help motivate, encourage, and train social workers and other professionals to advance in their careers.  Although she has a heart for social work, her compassion to reach beyond those walls to assist other professionals is unmatched.
